Biography
Eve Esin was born on the 17th of October, in the year 1981. She hails from Oron, Akwa Ibom State. Eve is Efik by the tribe. The star actress will be 41 years of age in October 2022.
Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Esin but the actress lost her mother on the 6th of February, 2005.
As a daughter of the South, She completed her primary school education in Oron, her hometown after which she proceeded to Immaculate Conception Secondary School, Itak-Ikono, Akwa Ibom State for her secondary school education.
After She was done with her basic and secondary education, the multi-talented Eve Esin went to the University of Calabar in Cross Rivers State to further her education. She completed her studies and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. Although She studied nothing related to finance or banking, Eve bagged a bank job after her getting her University degree and She became a banker.
Career
In 2008, Eve had to quit her banking job due to the passion She had for the acting industry and decided to face her acting career squarely. She joined Nollywood after an outstanding audition for a movie role and ever since then, She has been featured in so many movies.
Aside from acting, Eve Esin has an ambition of becoming a well-known movie producer. In 2016, She produced her first movie titled “Spirit” which had its premiere in Lagos State, the home of Nollywood.
As of 2022, She has acted in more than 100 movies and still counting. Her famous roles were in movies like Sisters of Virtue, Brothers War, Dangerous Pastors, Back from Congo, The Storm, Brave Mind, Enemy of the Land, Ifeoma The Trouble Maker, Spirit of War, and many others.
Eve Esin is one of the few Nollywood actresses that can play any role given to them perfectly. She has the ability to effortlessly fit into any role.
Having been in the Entertainment industry for quite some time now, her acting skills have brought praise to her and also awards. She won an award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. That not being enough, She also won the Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2015, Best Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, and the Most Promising Act to Watch at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
Husband and Family
Eve Esin is not yet married. The actress has been engaged to her heartthrob, Chijioke Nneji, who happens to be a Nollywood movie producer. She got engaged on January 20, 2020, and has been engaged for two years.
Hopefully, they plan on getting married soon as her fans are eagerly waiting to see her walk down the aisle.
