Annie Idibia, whose real name is Annie Macaulay, was born on November 13, 1984, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. She was born in Ibadan, but she is from Eket, which is in Akwa Ibom State.
Idibia lived in Ibadan with her father, who worked for the oil company Mobil (now ExxonMobil), and her mother, who was a housewife. But when she was 10, her parents split up, so she and her siblings had to move out and live with their mother.
