Zenith Bank’s main USSD code is *966#. To start using Zenith USSD mobile banking, you need to activate it, dial *966# from the phone number linked to your bank account then follow the instructions on the screen until you successfully activate your code. Along the line, you’ll be required to add your account number and a 4-digit secret PIN to authenticate it and complete the registration.
To open a new Zenith Bank account, dial *966*0# and follow the instructions, this is useful if you are too busy or you wouldn’t want to pass through the stress of going into a Zenith Bank branch to queue in the banking hall to open an account.
To open a ZenithBank Easy Account (Online Account), dial *966*77#. This account uses your phone number as your account number and has no requirements for ID card, reference letter or utility bills, and others.
Zenith Bank Account Balance Code
To check your account balance, simply dial *966*00# using the phone number linked to your bank account.
You will be required to put your secret PIN, do that and your account balance will be displayed to you or sent as an SMS.
Zenith Bank Transfer Code
To transfer money from your account to another bank, dial *996*amount*Account Number#. For example, if the person’s account number is: 1234567890 and you want to transfer 10,000 Naira to the person, dial *966*10000*1234567890# and send, the money will be sent to the beneficiary. However, You’ll be notified if there are any hitches on the transaction i.e. failed transaction.
Zenith Bank Recharge Code (Data & Airtime)
To buy airtime for yourself, dial *966*amount#. For example, *966*200#.
To recharge for your other numbers, friends, and loved ones, dial *966*amount*MobileNumber# For example, *966*200*08012345678#.
To buy data, dial *966# and select data, then select the network and data plan you want and input your PIN.
Zenith Bank USSD Code Blockage
In case you are faced with a situation where you believe your money in Zenith Bank account is not safe, e.g. where thieves or armed robbers take hold of your phone, simply dial *966*911# with any available phone and follow the prompts to block your USSD code on your Zenith Bank account. That way, no transaction can be carried out with your phone.
Code to Check Zenith Bank Account Number
Perhaps your Zenith Bank account number is not handy and you need the account number urgently, with the mobile number that is linked to your bank account, simply dial *966*00#. You’ll be requested to enter your secret PIN or the last 4 digits of your ATM card and send. In a few minutes, your account number will be sent to you via SMS.
Zenith Bank BVN Code
To update Zenith Bank BVN details, simply *966*BVN# with the mobile number linked to the account, and follow the prompts.
