First, the name MI Abaga is not his real name. It is a stage name. His real name is Jude Lemfani Abaga. Most people do not know his real name. He is a rapper, music producer, and songwriter. MI Abaga is from Taraba State in Northern Nigeria.
He was born on 4th October 1981 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria into the family of Pastor Chris Abaga and Mrs. Lydia Abaga. He has two other brothers namely Jesse Jagz and Jason Abaga.

MI Abaga is a well-educated singer and rapper. He started both primary and secondary school education in Jos. Although his primary school name is not in the public space but we know that he had his secondary education at the Baptist High School. He later proceeded to Calvin University (a private Christian University formerly called Calvin College) where he obtained a degree in business and economics.
Career
MI Abaga started his music career at a college in the United States. He performed in different Hip Hop concerts. In 2003, he had an exceptional performance at the HipHopera concert in the college. This made him popular and helped him to boost his confidence in his music.
He later relocated to Portharcourt in 2012 after which he formed a musical group called Loopy Music. With this group, he did music with different great minds such as Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Ruby, Threadstone, Moses Elbuike, Lindsay, and E kelly. He later joined Chocolate City and he was with them for 13 years. Some of his tracks include but are not limited to Beef, Problems, crowd mentality, undisputed champion, chairman, loving me, etc.
Marital Status
MI Abaga got married on the 22nd of September 2022. He got married to Eniola Mafe. The couple met for the first time in December 2020. They dated for almost two years before saying I do to each other. Their marriage was attended by celebrities from all over. The marriage is just a few days old, so there is not much to talk about. MI Abaga is truly a great rapper and his prowess can be felt in every song he is featured in. He has several nominations for the award and some awards to his name. He started winning awards in 2009 with two awards Best Hip Hop and Best Breakthrough Act at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Award. Some of his other awards include Album of the year at the 2015 City People Music Award, Best Rap Album at the 2016 Headies Award, and Special Recognition award at the 2017 City People Music Award. He won two awards at the 2018 Headies Award which are Best Rap single and Lyricist on the roll respectively.
