Ronke Odusanya was born on 3rd May 1973 in Ogun State, she is 49 years old.
She is a well-educated actress who had her primary education at St. Benedict Nursery and Primary School, secondary education at the Federal Government Girls College, Akure and a degree in mass communication at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State.
Starting a career in acting was not very smooth for Ronke Odusanya. Her father was against it because he felt there were better jobs but her mum had been her supporter right from day one. Against all odds, she went into it and made a name for herself.
She started acting while she was in the university. She discovered her talent while taking part in stage dramas and went further to consummate her passion by joining Nollywood. In the year 2000, she joined Adebayo Salami’s (fondly called Oga Bello) Theatre group named Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group.
She made her debut in 2001 when she acted in the movie titled Baba Ologba. She went to take part in several movies after then. The nickname Flakky Idi Dowo came up in a movie produced by Fathia Balogun in 2006 where she acted the personality.
Ronke Odusanya has worked with the best actors and producers of all time within the Yoruba movie industry such as Odunade Kola, Femi Adebayo, Jide Kosoko, etc. She has produced several movies such as Twisted, Gangan, Flakky Ijaya, etc., and has also featured in many which include but are not limited to Jenifa, Ailatunse, Eekan soso, Laroda ojo, etc.
Ronke Odusanya has been recognized by both local and international awarding bodies. For instance, she was awarded as the most fashionable actress by the Olabisi Onabanjo University Fashion awards. This was to appreciate her as an alumnus doing well in her field. She has also been nominated several times for different awards. A notable nomination is the Best Actress in Leading Role in Yoruba category under the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2017 following her incredible performance in the movie titled Ailatunse.

The marital status of Ronke Odusanya often confuses people. This is because she is a single mother. She first had a notable relationship with Alhaji Pasuma Alabi, the fuji expert but the relationship didn’t end well. Rumor says they were unable to balance their personality with their jobs.
Ronke Odusanya afterwards entered into a relationship with another man named Olanrewaju Saheed fondly called Mr. Jago. Though this relationship also came to an abrupt end it produced a child. Ronke is known to love spending time and shopping with her daughter named Fife.
