Lojay is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who rose to prominence after the release of his song “Monalisa” in 2021. His actual name is Lekan Osifeso Jr., and he is currently 25 years old.
The release of Lojay’s single “Ariel” in October 2019 was the first thing that brought him to the attention of Nigerian music fans. After collaborating with Wizkid on one of his songs, “LV N ATTN,” the title of his 5-track EP, which was released on June 4, 2021, he became more popular.
Lojay is well-known for his collaborations with music producer Sarz, including his “LV N ATTN” EP.
Early Life and Education
Lojay was born in Lagos State on April 28, 1996. He was the firstborn of his parents. The 25-year-old musician is said to have attended an “elite private school” for elementary and secondary education.
Otunba Lekan Osifeso, chairman of the Lekai Group of Companies, is rumored to be Lojay’s father. Lojay is reportedly his son.
In 2018, Lojay reportedly received his first degree from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. We currently know very little about Lojay’s background or upbringing.
Career
Lojay developed an interest in music at a young age, but he did not begin making music professionally until 2016. He has since achieved some success.
“Tonongo” and “Monalisa,” two of Lojay’s most popular songs, both feature the Nigerian super producer “Sarz.”
In 2021, he released his debut EP, “LV N ATTN,” which featured Wizkid and numerous other prominent Nigerian musicians. Additionally, the EP has been streamed over a million times across all social media platforms.
Lojay has collaborated with a variety of artists, including Wizkid, Sarz, Laime, Hermez, and many others.
Meeting Sarz
According to Lojay, Sarz introduced him to him through his attorney. After hearing some of his work, Sarz put him through a 30-day “boot camp” that resulted in the release of his well-received EP, “LV N ATTN.”
Lojay’s “LV N ATTN” EP was released on June 4, 2021. The abbreviation for “Love and Attention” is “LV N ATTN.” On the project, he collaborated with the award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid and the music producer Sarz.
