Mark had contacted some kids he knew for the job, but none could get the lines and act to his taste. He then resorted to Emmanuella, who was just 5 years old, and she played the role effortlessly.
After the audition, Mark Angel asked her parents for their consent to add Emmanuella as part of the Mark Angel crew, which they accepted. That was the beginning of Emmanuella’s journey into the world of comedy.
Emmanuella first appeared on the mark angel youtube channel in 2015 with the episode title “Who Mess.” After her debut on the mark angel channel, she featured in many other subsequent videos before her break-out video “my real face” was released.
The video gained millions of views in a few hours and was the talk of the Nigerian social media space.
