The Unity Bank short code service enables users (both account holders and non-account holders) to access banking services via their mobile phones regardless of the telecommunication service provider, phone type, or location of the customer’s phone.

You need to activate Unity Bank’s USSD code on your phone before you can begin using Unity Bank’s mobile banking services on your mobile device.

Unity Bank’s code for USSD transactions is *7799#. To register for USSD mobile banking on your phone, follow these steps:

1. From the mobile phone number that is linked to your Unity bank account, dial *7799# in order to activate the Unity bank USSD code.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to either add the number of your bank account or your naira debit card.
3. Create a personal identification number (PIN) that consists of four digits and will be used for authenticating transactions.

Unity Bank Transfer Code

To transfer money from your Unity Bank account to another Unity Bank account,  dial *7799*1*Receiver’s Account Number*Amount# (for example, *7799*1*1234567890*10000#)

To transfer money to other banks, dial *7799*2*Receiver’s Account Number*Amount#, for example, *7799*2*1234567890*10000#.

Unity Bank Recharge Code (Airtime & Data)

The code to buy airtime for your line connected to your Unity bank account is *7799*Recharge Amount# (for example, *7799*1000#).

The code to buy airtime for other phone numbers not linked to your Unity Bank account is *7799*Phone Number*Amount# for example, dial *7799*08012345678*1000#.

Unity Bank Balance Code

Dial *7799*0# to find out the current balance of your bank account at Unity Bank.

To block your Unity bank account if you suspect that someone has gained unauthorized access to your Unity bank account, dial *7799*9*phone number#.

Unity Bank BVN Code

Simply dial *7799*5# in order to check and verify your BVN on your Unity bank account.
